Identification badges
The first form of identification for all employees and contractors, this badge must be visible at all times as per the requirements of Corporate Security. The colours are an exception as they are the standard access permissions colours for Canada. The transition of staff ID badges to the new Visual Identity standards will be managed by Corporate Security and occur on a life cycle replacement basis.
Golf shirts and T-shirts
The Visual Identifier is to be placed as shown in the below layout:
- On the left chest with the descriptor if needed on the sleeve or back.
To make sure the title or descriptor is legible from a distance it is to appear on its own in sentence case letters set in Myriad Pro Bold. For example: Staff or Event Crew
NOTE: A special visual identifier has been developed specifically for embroidery use.
To meet detailed stitching requirements the recommended size of the Visual Identifier is:
- Three inches wide on golf shirts and T-shirts.
- Four inches wide for items that are silkscreened.
Shorts and tank tops
The Visual Identifier is to be placed as shown in the below layout:
- On the left chest/leg with the descriptor if needed on the side or back.
To make sure the title or descriptor is legible from a distance it is to appear on its own in sentence case letters set in Myriad Pro Bold. For example: Staff or Employee.
NOTE: A special Visual Identifier has been developed specifically for embroidery use.

Overalls and vests
The logo is to be placed as shown in the below layout:
- logo on the front and larger on the back for safety reasons.

- Three inches wide on all vest/overall fronts and five inches wide on back.
Special event exceptions
In some special cases the event takes precedent to the Visual Identifier. The Visual Identifier and the event name are to be placed as shown in the below layout:
- Visual Identifier on the side with the event name on the front.
As part of our One Voice initiative, do not put the Visual Identifier and event name together. To make sure the event name is legible from a distance it is to appear on its own. Event names are to appear in sentence case letters set in Myriad Pro Bold.
